Rev.Sr.Dhanaseeli gave a talk on friendship to our IInd year Trainees. She was very clear in delivering the topic on friendship and she was very practical and cleared all their doubts inorder to mold their life in friendship in a proper way

Two days of training were conducted for non-teaching faculty of DIET in our Institution. Mr.Arokiya swamy J.D. From DTERT visited our Institute. Resource persons Mr.Mohan, Dr.Ilangovan and Mr.RajaGopal conducted these days meeting.

Three days Scout and Guide camp was held at our Institute, for our first year trainees. It was conducted by Thiru Ebinezer Chandrahasan on the third day, the trainees visited and gave very interesting programmes in Melavadakoor, our sponsored village.

Our trainees went on a “FIELD TRIP” to the historical places such as Tanjore, Brahadeeswarar temple, Pudukottai Museum, Thirumayam fort and chitannavasal painting.

National education day was celebrated in a special manner. Rev.Sr.Helen Amala Rani, H.M. Of Gabrial Gomez Primary school, presided over the function variety of cultural prorammes were exhibited. The chief guest appreciated our trainees performances. She advised them to concentrate in their studies and to save the poor & needy.

IInd Year DTEd result was published. We are proud to note that we’ve achieved 94% Result. Among 79 Trainees, -- 74 – Passed and 5 Failuers, Subject – Tamil – 1, English – 4.

We celebrated “ PONGAL” in our campus. The Principal Sr.Ranjitham presided over the function. All of us were delighted to taste and enjoyed the pongal.
