St. Theresa  Teacher Training Institute’s 60th year  DIAMOND JUBILEE was celebrated in a grand manner on 26.10.07 at 10.00 A.M. Mr.Thangam Thennarasu, School  Education Minister presided over the function as a Chief guest Rev.Sr. Alphonse Ananthi has welcomed all and gave the 60 years Annual report. The presidential address was given by most Rev.Sr.Dr.Agnes Xavier, Mother General of CIC,Madurai. Mr.P.Mohan, member of parliament, Dr.P. Perumal Swamy, Director, DTERT, Chennai, Most Rev.Fr. Vincent Chinnadurai, Chairman, S.M.C. Chennai. Mrs. Fatima Thilagarani, Principal, DIET, Kallupatti, Rev. Fr.Dr.Ananth, Editor- Namvazhou – Chennai, Mrs.Thilagavathi Chandran, Panchayat President, Virahanur, Mrs.Arockia Selvi – old student of our Institution & Principal, St.Mary’s Middle School, Madurai were the special invites of this function. Mrs. Amala, Lecturer of our Institution gave the vote of thanks. Our trainees were enthusiastic to present a variety of programmes.
